Burn Pile and Proper Use of it

The Burn pile can only be used for dumping leaves, needles, pine cones and wood that grew on this mountain. Nothing man made is to be placed there. When using the burn pile, please be sure to place the items as close to the middle of the pile as possible. People have been dumping their items in the driving area. This costs the HOA money as we have to hire a company to push the items into the middle. Please be considerate and help keep the pile neater.
 
Defensible Spaces
  1. Thin tree and brush cover.
  2. Dispose of slash and debris left from thinning.
  3. Remove dead limbs, leaves and other litter.
  4. Stack firewood away from home.
  5. Maintain irrigated greenbelt.
  6. Mow dry grasses and weeds.
  7. Prune branches to 10 feet above the ground.
  8. Trim branches near structures.
  9. Clean roof gutters.
  10. Reduce density of surrounding forest.
